FurHaven Puppy Reservation Agreement
Thank you for choosing a puppy from FurHaven. Our puppies are raised in a loving home environment with a strong focus on health, temperament, and early socialization. The following terms outline the reservation and purchase process for a FurHaven puppy.
Reservation Deposit
A $200 non-refundable reservation deposit is required to reserve a puppy.
• The deposit secures your selected puppy until pickup.
• The deposit will be applied toward the final purchase price.
• Puppies are not considered reserved until the deposit has been received.
Deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a future FurHaven litter.
Puppy Selection
Puppies are generally reserved in the order deposits are received unless otherwise arranged by FurHaven.
FurHaven reserves the right to guide puppy placement to ensure the best match between puppy temperament and family lifestyle.
Remaining Balance
The remaining balance is due prior to or at the time of puppy pickup, unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in writing.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated prior to pickup.
Pickup Timeline
Puppies will be ready to go to their new homes at approximately 8 weeks of age (April 12, 2029)
If buyer is not able to pick up puppy at 8 weeks - please discuss with us, we will help any way we can.
Buyers are expected to pick up their puppy within the agreed pickup window, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Failure to pick up the puppy within the agreed timeframe may result in the puppy being offered to another family.
Health & Care
All FurHaven puppies receive:
• Age-appropriate veterinary care, including their first vaccinations and a full health check performed at approximately 6 weeks of age.
• Early socialization and daily handling to help build confidence and positive human interaction.
• A safe, nurturing home environment where puppies are raised with care and attention during their critical early development.
Buyers agree to provide proper care, regular veterinary visits, and a safe, loving home for their puppy.
Return-to-Breeder Policy
If at any point during the dog’s life the buyer is unable or unwilling to keep the dog, the buyer agrees to contact FurHaven first.
The dog may not be surrendered to a shelter, rescue organization, or re-homed without notifying FurHaven.
FurHaven will assist with returning the dog or helping find a suitable new home.
All deposits and purchase payments remain non-refundable.
Breeder Rights
FurHaven reserves the right to refuse the sale of a puppy if it is determined that placement would not be in the best interest of the puppy.
If FurHaven chooses not to place a puppy with a buyer, the reservation deposit will be fully refunded.
Agreement
By submitting a reservation deposit, the buyer acknowledges that they have read and agree to the FurHaven Puppy Reservation Agreement.
