Our inspiration
FurHaven was inspired by a deep love for dogs and the joy they bring to a home. What started as a passion for raising and caring for our own dogs quickly grew into wanting to help other families experience that same kind of unconditional love and companionship. We fell in love with the loyal, gentle nature of Golden Retrievers and the sweet, intelligent personalities of Goldendoodles. We knew we wanted to raise puppies in a way that felt intentional, ethical, and truly family-centered.

What makes FurHaven special is that our dogs are not raised in a kennel setting—they are raised as part of our family here in Jefferson, Georgia. From the very beginning, our puppies are surrounded by affection, structure, and everyday life, which helps them grow into confident, well-socialized companions. We focus on early routines, socialization, and preparing each puppy for a smooth transition into their forever home. Most importantly, we genuinely care about creating the right match for every puppy and every family—and we love staying connected with our FurHaven families long after adoption day.
